The perfect base from which to explore Ireland’s Mid-West
Relax with a break at Ardilaun in one of our spacious rooms.
Ardilaun Guesthouse first opened its doors to guests in 1997, since when its eleven light and elegant rooms—doubles, triples and family, each with an en suite—have cared for travellers from all parts of the world.
We are an experienced, family-run business and take pride in looking after our community of guests. From the moment you turn into the large car-park, our aim is to make your time at Ardilaun one of your more memorable travelling experiences.
A stone’s throw from Shannon Airport, the historic town of Ennis is the ideal base, and Ardilaun Guesthouse the perfect home from home, for exploring the raw beauty, dramatic scenery and breathtaking diversity of Ireland’s mid-west.
Follow the Wild Atlantic Way, stand and stare at the Cliffs of Moher, marvel at the Burren landscape, step back in time at Bunratty Castle, walk the Flaggy Shore, venture underground at Aillwee Cave, surf and sunbathe at Lahinch, kiss an alpaca at Loop Head, or find a partner at Lisdoonvarna ... it’s all on your doorstep.
With an idyllic setting on the river Fergus, on-site fishing and a waterside deck, award-winning Ardilaun Guesthouse is a 30-minute walk from Ennis and a 20-minute drive from Shannon Airport. The surrounding area boasts both scenic walks and seasonal watersports.
Rooms at Ardilaun Guesthouse are elegant in style and most have picturesque views of the river. Features include satellite TV and tea- and coffee-making facilities, as well as an en suite bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer..
